Can I use Smart Balls when I have my period?

I have been trying to find out whether the Uno can be used when you are menstruating but cannot find any thing to say whether it is ok to use them during your period so are you able to answer my query?

Smart Balls are safe to use during menstruation as they can be easily cleaned, however it can be a bit messy and many women find their vagina is a bit sensitive over his time, so many women choose not to use the balls over this time. I would definitely recommend using lubricant at all times and maybe a little more during this time.
